Item was shipped from India. I was charged import fees, duty fees and extra sales tax weeks after receiving this item from FedEx. I was billed through the mail. I would Not have bought it if I was aware of the total cost of this item. Be aware of this before you buy. The pouch is nice it Looks just like the picture. The leather was a bit dry and stiff when it came. I used some Neatsfoot oil to soften it and it darkened a little but looks even better.Great item but cost way too much For what it is once all the import charges are Billed to you.

On reading the mixed reviews (some say this leather pouch is awesome, some say it's horrendous), I decided to take a chance and buy one for $13.99, and the verdict? I'm buying another! No, they're not EXACTLY as pictured - leather is a natural material and no two pieces are ever going to be the same, and if you look at the pics closely, there's a couple of different pouches. Or maybe one is just packed differently and fuller. Nevertheless! Mine arrived looking a little 'yellowish' - this is just leathers natural color. I used a piece of cotton cloth and some regular Coconut Oil you use to cook with (mine was from Trader Joe's, just FYI), worked it in gently and manipulated the leather to make it a little softer, and the color is now that of autumnal horse chestnuts (or conkers for us Brits!), and it's beautiful! I'm quite in love with it, if I'm honest... anyway, yes again, there is an 'odor' - that's the odor of.... yes, leather! 'Leather' is what leather is supposed to smell like! Isn't that amazing!? If you're buying this to use as a tobacco pouch/pipe pouch - yes once again, there are better pouches out there with more compartments, more space, etc etc etc - and you'll pay WAY more for them. But for between $13 and $15 depending on which buyer you use, you get a real leather pouch that will age and wear to absolute perfection, smells wonderful (especially once it's 'toned down' after a few days and is paired with an ounce of your fave tobacco), and has space for a large bowled pipe (pipe shown in pics is a Meerschaum Country Gentleman corn cob just for reference), an ounce or two of 'baccy, matches/lighter, pipe tool, a few pipe cleaners, and a cork (pack your bowl, and plug it gently with a real cork from a wine bottle - not a 'plastic cork' - to keep your tobacco from drying out too much, and/or falling out whilst in the pouch), I've even held two pipes in there with a smaller amount of tobacco and it still closes with no problem. Yep, I really am buying another one. Not sure yet what I'll do with it, but I am! And yes, I paid full price - this is not a review in exchange for a free product, or even for a product at a discounted rate. So, to sum up - great quality leather, nice sized pouch for pipe/tobacco use, nice 'leather' smell, stitching is very good - no loose ends/missed stitches etc, good size, no mold/mildew/stains, and it really does look like something you've paid a lot more cash for! I'm just trying to think what I 'need' another one for. I'll think of something!!The photos I'm adding - some were taken using Hipstamatic, just for artistic purposes, and some are just basic iPhone snaps, all pics are mine and are of the exact product I received. Oh! One last thing (if you're still with me!) - shipping was fast; I got mine in two days! Jeez, what's not to like? I seriously am ordering another...

This is wonderful!!! I love it so much I wish I could buy it 100 times! It is so much thicker than it shows on the pictures in the listing!! I use it to hold a tarot deck, on the go. It fits my largest tarot box in it! Not just a small tuck box, (like playing cards), but a large cardboard box. It smells great, like real leather and the liner is durable. The color is perfect & I love the wrap too! It gives me such an esoteric feeling! I seriously LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ANDDDDD THE PRICE!!!!! WHAT A STEAL!!!!!!!! BUY IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!🤩😎🤩

I've seen a few different sellers on Amazon selling these so I thought I'd give it a try. I am someone who buys leather on the reg. And so I understand that real leather is not going to look just like the photo. But this, THIS, is nothing like what is advertised. Even some of the other reviews I now see commenting on such, even theirs looks better than what I received. Mine is an orange-ish camel color and the leather is not soft as the photo shows (creases) or any leathery type of detail to it's texture. Heck, mine couldn't crease if I tried. And in fact, I did try. It's is stiff and hard. And although I may like some things in life that way, my leather is not one of them. It's boring and the only texture it has makes it look like Pleather (fake leather), almost manufactured. I didn't rate it's sturdiness as bad as it does seem to be well made on that said of things. Definitely tough. But I also buy leather for it's look and this one looks like it's fake. And you know that great leather smell? Well, from the second I opened the bag I could smell it. But it is NOT the scent of leather. Think chicken and pasta that has sat in the fridge for a month... you suddenly open the container for a sniff test to see if it's okay and WOAH, oh hell no. Yeah, not that strong, but that's the scent. Definitely will be returning. I'd ask for a replacement but now that I've scanned other reviews I don't think it would be worth the try.
