We bought them originally for the Christmas tree and other holiday items but they worked so good we use them year around. Easy to set with the tabs you push down or up based on your desired time on and off. There is a switch on the side to keep the lights on after the times is off of you need then on longer and it remembers your settings. Nice to come home and our lights are on where we want them on.
