## Description

Product description Mad Dog 1 Million Scoville Pepper Extract HEAT LEVEL EXTREME! WARNING - DO NOT CONSUME DIRECTLY - FOOD ADDITIVE ONLY! Considered liquid gold by heat seekers, our 1 million Scoville pepper extract is the secret ingredient for kitchens, restaurants and hot sauce, and food manufacturers. Just one drop can turn ordinary buffalo wings into a plate of fire-packed flavor. Several drops in a vat of chili and you now have a pot of fire with alarming qualities. 1,000,000 SHU, 4 fl oz. It’s the first extract in a 4-ounce bottle, certified by HPLC A.O.A.C. to be 1,000,000 Scoville Units (+/- 5%). For the money, if you're looking for a fabulously hot additive, this is the one to get! 1,000,000 SHU, 4 fl oz.. CAUTION: As with all our extracts, do not get this extract on hands or spray it where kids or pets are playing! Customers who use this as a deer repellent should not spray near children or where children will play. Wear safety glasses and gloves at all times and make sure that this pepper extract does not come in contact with the body. What it Takes to Make an Extract While hot sauce can range from mild to earth-shattering hot, a pepper extract hits an entirely new level when it comes to scorching heat. After all, it’s the stuff that military and police-grade pepper sprays are made of; so this stuff is off the scale hot! For this reason, you can’t exactly top off your meal with an extract. Instead, it’s used mainly as a food additive during cooking. Even if you go this route, though, you have to use that pepper extract in a small dose, for a little goes a long way. Pepper extracts are exceptionally hot because they’re made up of either pure dried chili peppers or a blend of dried peppers and essential oils. Pure capsaicin comes in at 15 million on the Scoville scale, meaning extracts can hit a range that doesn’t even compare to your average bottle of hot sauce. Basically, you get the extract by submerging dried peppers, either dried by you or already dried, in alcohol, drawing out the pepper’s oil. You can use any type of hot pepper you want, but a hotter pepper results in more capsaicin, meaning you don’t have to use as many peppers. A milder pepper takes a lot more peppers to achieve the desired amount. Of course, this is just a simple way of explaining the process, as it’s actually not advised you do the extraction yourself unless you really know what you’re doing. You definitely don’t want to touch the product with your bare hands, risk getting anything in your eyes, nor do you want to deal with the fumes. That’s because pure capsaicin is not only highly irritating but it can also be dangerous. Luckily, it’s easy to find an array of sizzling pepper extracts already on the market. Just remember, we warned you they’re extremely hot! Our 1,000,000 Scoville pepper extract is very popular in restaurant kitchens across the country. This doesn’t mean it’s sold exclusively to restaurants though. You can also get our pepper extract for your home kitchen! It comes in three sizes so you can choose whichever one is right for you. The pinnacle of flavor, crafted for you. Available now, Mad Dog ECO promises to deliver flavor and a serious punch! Grab yours now. Yes it burns, but go ahead and play your hand! God ahead and fire it up with our large size! Cooking with hot sauce and extracts If you think hot sauce is just an ordinary condiment to top off food, think again! Sure hot sauce makes a great topping, but it can also add some great flavor while you’re cooking. In fact, adding some hot sauce or hot pepper extracts into the mix while cooking can be a great way to infuse flavor into just about any food. If you’re not too sure about how to do it, we have some great ideas to take you from snacking to dinnertime. When it comes to appetizers, try mixing some hot sauce into ordinary dips. Traditionally bland cream cheese or mayo always tastes better when you add in some heat. You can also try mixing in hot sauce to stuffed peppers, mushrooms or eggplant, or simply adding it into the mix when you’re making meatballs or burgers. Of course, chili is pretty great too when you stir in some extra spice. From fiery egg rolls to casseroles, just about anything on the menu tastes better when you take it up a notch in flavor. Just remember that when it comes to some of the hottest hot sauce on the planet, a little usually goes a long way. You may want to start small, and then add in more and more hot sauce to increase the flavor gradually. Another option is to use a pepper extract . Keep in mind, though, extracts can be insanely hot! Only use the extract as an additive, and only use it in small doses. It works well in things like a stir-fry, plus soups and chili. There’s really no limit when it comes to infusing hot sauce and hot pepper extracts into mealtime. Whether you try some of our great recipes or create your own, just be creative and enjoy!

Review: Good heat amplifier for your recipes - I make my own beef jerky. I have a great recipe that I really like but it doesn't quite have enough heat. So I bought some of this stuff. What I do is, I use a metal skewer that I dip into this hot sauce to add the heat to my marinade. If I want about a medium heat for my beef jerky I'll dip the skewer about an inch the hot sauce then mix it into the marinade. If I want it pretty spicy, I'll dip it about two inches into the hot sauce and then mix that into the marinade. Let the meat and marinade do their thing overnight, put the beef into the dehydrator and pretty soon you've got some great, spicy beef jerky.
Review: Fantastic and Tasty - Unlike the 5mil extracts, the 1mil extract is not prohibited by most states. More importantly, you can "work" with it. The 5mil extract is awesome too, but the fumes area killer, it will make you cry and choke just from smelling it. The 1mil is just not pleasant to smell, but you can still work with it and cook with it. From a torts perspective, if you plan on putting this product on someone's food, (1) put only a small amount, (2) tell them that it's "a bit spicy." That way, your intended target is at least aware of the risk of the food he or she is about to taste being spicy. He or she is assuming the risk of "how" spicy the food will be, and if they can handle how spicy it is. The "choice" is entirely upon the free-will of the target, and not due to misrepresentation or concealment. On the same note, please do NOT put this in food and NOT tell the person that it's spicy. Sure, it might seem like a funny thing to do, but it won't be funny if they file a pretty strong tort claim against you civilly. Also, some people are unable to handle spicy foods, or due to some stomach, heart, or GI condition, are extremely sensitive to spicy foods. Giving them food containing a 1mil extract poses a serious risk to their health and life! That means, what you thought was a joke, could end up putting you in jail for reckless or criminally negligent homicide. As an added warning; please be careful when you use this product. If you don't use gloves, and then rub your eyes later, enjoy the sensation of 1mil SHU on your naked eyes. To enjoy a similar sensation, just allow the sauce to splash into your eyes while washing something or closing the top of the bottle with the cap. If you thought you felt pain from your mouth being on fire, wait till you see what it feels like in your eyes. It's not fun, so please use gloves and glasses, or try to be very careful. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the ingredients?**
A: One part Devil's tears, two parts Devil's blood and 3 parts Hitler sweat. Yeah, this stuff is hot enough to be poison!!! Good luck.

**Q: Does this come with a dropper?**
A: I use a disposable drinking straw to extract a few drops from the bottle and discard the straw.

**Q: Is this in an oil, vinegar or alcohol base? I want to put it on my bird seed and the Cole's Flaming Squirrel sauce isn't hot enough**
A: Is this a pourable oil consistency or closer to a paste? Looking for a more economical (i.e. longer lasting) substitute for Cole's Flaming Sqirrel sauce, which works fairly well at keeping the squirrels away. When we just had bare seed out, the sqirrels would come lounge in our feeder and eat up pounds of seed in just a day or so. Since coating the seed with hot oil, we have only gotten a couple of sqirrels, and they don't lounge for long. The birds though, don't seem to mind at all. Cardinals, Titmice, Juncos, Chickadees, Finches, and more Starlings and Grackles than I prefer, all use the feeder after adding the oil. I bought the Cole's hot oil at a bird feeding supply store, and looking it up on line confirms the general consensus that birds don't seem to be sensitive to the heat. They just love my sunflower seeds. If I get this product, it will be diluted with vegetable oil to a point that would give a heat higher than the Cole's but still able to be added to birdseed at a rate of about 3 T. per 5 lbs seed.

**Q: what is the concentration? Does it take all 4 oz to equal 1 million Scoville units or is it 1 million per ml, etc?**
A: Scovilles are already a measure of how spicy the sauce is, which is specifically a concentration of capsaicinoids, not a quantity. So your question doesn't make much sense - 1 ml of the sauce is 1 million scovilles, and also 4 oz of the sauce is 1 million scovilles.

If you add 1 ml of the sauce to 99 mL of something otherwise non-spicy, the result will be 10,000 scovilles.

If you add 1 oz of the sauce to 9 oz of something otherwise non-spicy, the resulting food will be 100,000 scovilles.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Use caution and be mindful of the quantity when consuming
*by J***N on May 29, 2021*

I have been using this for a over a year now in chili and making things a little hotter than usual. A few of the recipes I have used this in: I made a 3 gallon pot of chili with a dozen or so habaneros and 4 Carolina reapers, added about 10 drops to it and it was very flavorful with a lot of heat to the point where most hot sauce enthusiasts wouldn't eat more than a bite. Chicken brest marinated in 15 drops of this, a quart of chicken broth, pinch of salt, liberal amount of ground black pepper and garlic powder. Served over rice with a butter sauce (Butter, garlic, lemon, and chardonnay). It was extra tasty but had an insane amount of heat to the point where my roommates and I were all outside vomiting and coughing after a single bite. WARNING, THIS IS NOT A JOKE after over a year of use I have only used about a half ounce of this extract. Be mindful and if cooking with it the fumes can cause some eye and nasal discomfort similar to pepper spray. Will be buying again if I ever run out.
