Review: Appear well made but NOT made in the USA - These tie-downs were purchased because I did not want poor quality, unreliable ones made in China that I could purchase from a local auto-parts store for a fraction of this price. However, these are NOT made in the USA. Designed or engineered in USA, or Germany, or Italy, etc. is deceptive nonsense as the quality is rarely the same when manufacture is sublet to a country without what I call "an intrinsic culture of quality." Often the problem with Made in China is that the product is made to look fine, but the materials and/or manufacture is poor, with the inevitable failure and short life; we'll see how they perform under load.

**Q: could these be used for a tree swing connection and be left outside for a long time?**
A: I would say definitely not... these are for securing loads & tarps within the stated weight limits.  If left out in the environment, the harsh effects of ultraviolet in sunlight would probably cause the stitching to deteriorate. WKH

**Q: Do you knw the thread weight on the sewn patches that form the loops?**
A: No but I did use them to tie down a sportster on a trailer and had no problem

**Q: Could these be used as an extension for excersize cable machine handles?**
A: These straps are certainly strong enough to use for exercise extensions.  I suggest caution in how you rig them up to the handles so there is no slippage.

**Q: Are these made in china like there other products are.? i know they put usa after there name but so does hyundai.  i want usa mfg.**
A: Our products are engineered, tested, designed in the USA but manufactured in the PRC.

These tie-downs were purchased because I did not want poor quality, unreliable ones made in China that I could purchase from a local auto-parts store for a fraction of this price. However, these are NOT made in the USA.
