What a ruggedly beautiful design for those JK owners who want to flat tow their Wrangler but would rather keep their stock bumper.The build quality is impressive. Love the way the tow bar mounting brackets tuck under the stock bumper on what turns out to be a very rugged skid-plate though not advertised as such.Installation was straight forward.This 76 year old had no difficulty. Take your time and follow the very clear instructions. JUST REMEMBERS THIS IF YOUR JK IS 2010 OR NEWER, YOU MUST TRIM THE VERTICAL FRAME MEMBERS TO WHICH THE CROSSMEMBER IS ATTACHED BEFORE YOU CAN INSTALL THE ROCK JOCK, TOW BAR MOUNTING PLATE!This bit of news does not appear until Page 3 of you otherwise superb instructions and is the most difficult and time consuming step in the entire installation, Cheers!

Heavy metal, seems to be good quality and looks good installed but probably designed for the first year of the JK and not updated for latter models as the instructions clearly say for 2010 and above for one issue but another issue - I had to do some grinding on the upper metal corners as the Jeep plastic bumper covering extends too far underneath for this too fit, blocks the two center top holes from lining up. Grind down the curves on the two ends and it fits as per instructions with some prying. Also blue ox tow bar would not connect as the tab holes did not line up, had to do some grinding on the two two plate tabs. I had a set of Demco connectors and they lined up perfectly but I think blue ox style is a little stronger. Other wise a good buy and heavy duty.

Easy install in our 2008 JKU to flat tow behind our class a motorhome. Will need a Roadmaster adapter if wanting to tow with a Roadmaster towbar. We have the Sterling all terrain and we needed to order a 035 adapter hinge. Did the job.

Love the finish and all bolt holes matched up great. Tucks up into space behind factory bumper, looks great after mounting completed, very heavy duty.

Great product. Very solid and well built. Easy install, especially if you read all of the instructions prior to install. Requires minor trimming for 2010+ JKs and some drilling, but that was mentioned in the description. Looks better than all other towing baseplates and provides added protection for the front of the Jeep. Fits perfect with my BluOx tow bar.

I should have looked into how this would work for a 2014 Rubicon before I ordered. The answer is, not without a lot of modification. Especially if you've changed the front bumper. It looks like it would bolt to frame, but only on the bottom edge. Top edge needs stock bumper or something fabricated. Restocking and shipping penalty for my mistake.

Excellent fit for my Jeep and matched up perfectly to my motorhome and Jeep.
