Bear Grylls Sleeping Bag 30F Degree (Men) - Thermolite Fiber

Bought this for my son after he lost his coldWeather sleeping bag for his troops annual excursion to the mountains for a cold weather camp out.You like it so much, several other members of his troop have bought one, and every member of my family has also purchased 1. Just wish they come in different colors to differentiate which bag belongs to which individual.

This bag will not move with you as you roll over, thus causing it to become entangled with your body throughout the night. Additionally, the zipper came unzipped several times at the base because my knees were pressed against the seams. I am 6' tall and weigh 195 pounds. I do not recommend this bag for similarly sized persons.

Love the bag, it's warm, it compacts nicely, it obviously isn't a snow bag, but for everything outside of that it is amazing. I am using a thermarest bed roll with it and I couldn't be happier.

this was a gift for my 8 year old nephew--he loves it and is looking forward to camping with his dad.

I bought this for a couple reasons. The price, The pack down size, The interior pocket, Bear Grylls backing it and being able to zip together the men's and the women's versions together. First the price is amazing for what it is. anything with the same specs are looking at over 100 dollars for sure. the quality does not match the cost, this is a well made product and is worth more then what i paid. The pack down size is great for any type of backpacking trip (about 2-2.5lbs) but with that you do loss some in the size department. it is rather slim and your only sleeping position in this is on your back and straight leg. you do not have any room to pull up your legs or adjust but buying a mummy bag i guess you already knew that. the interior pocket is a good size for wallet watch phone and on the inside of the bag. i used this a lot when sleeping to make sure i didn't loss my phone down in the bag or in the tent. the zipping together is where is gets weird and not worded correctly in reviews. the bag DOES NOT ZIP TOGETHER FULLY. let me explain. the bags zip together starting from the top where the hoods meet the bag down to about a foot and half from the bottom of the bag and leaves a small gap down there to allow air in. what this does is leaves each person with their own foot pocket. its an interesting feel and concept and trying to sleep that way is something to get used too for sure. i never did the couple nights my wife and i zipped ours together and ended up the next couple nights keeping to our self's. all in all it is a good product but is rather a tight fit with little mobility if you are a mover at night. hope this helps.

Compact, lightweight, kept me warm in about 35-40 degree F last weekend on a multi-day backpacking trip, and I tend to get cold easily. Love the feel and quality of the product.

Used this for the first time over the weekend and im very happy with it! For the price, i couldnt find anything that compared to this. It kept me warm for the most part. My lower body got a little cold but i had an extra blanket that i threw over the top and everything was perfect and cozy! I dont know how i feel about it being able to unzip from the bottom.. You get in and then have to put the zipper back on so you can zip it up and its not the easiest thing in the world when you're beat from hiking up a mountain all day. Other than that, this is an excellent product and would recommend it to my friends for sure!

I've used it a couple times down to around 38. If you put your warm clothes on, you should have no issues. If however, you want to sleep naked, this might not be for you.I got this because my girl got the companion BG bag. They zip together. Not all around, but they zip up and leave each foot area as separate. We liked that feature and was the main reason purchased.Funny, how the mans bag was rated to 30 and the women's down to 0. I would have liked to have gotten mine rated down to 0 as well.All in all, we're not expedition camping and the price was perfect.
