Review: Dvd was needed for classroom - I needed a dvd of this movie to show after we (my class) read Billy Shakes’s tragedy: Romeo and Juliet. I like this version because it is slightly modernized so the students can understand what is happening but it is in Shakespeare’s language from the play, and it does a good job of staying with the plot, although there are a few changes and not all are great. It gets the job done. Students love that we get to watch a movie.
