From dust and dirt, to repeated stuffing in a cramped bag and left out in 120F heat. I've connected it to Windows XP SP3 (x32), Windows 7 x32 and x64 bit, I even connected it to my ASUS Transformer Prime (TF201) with the Slick USB software and could use it there even! I've connected it to all these devices with NO DRIVERS NEEDED. Every system finds the right driver and automatically uses it. It's been used to connect to GPS devices, Cisco RS232 adapters, survey equipment, SCADA equipment (Wind Turbines), and raw data dump devices, all without fail.
