Review: A sock helps - I'm about 38" or 98 cm and my hernia is lower abdominal. The large size is OK and the medium is also OK - Pretty tight - but not uncomfortable. In either one, I put a soft wool sock rolled up inside the cup to put on extra pressure on the exact spot. With this on, I can go through the day in no pain - a huge help. Well-made and seems durable so far after a few weeks.
Review: It Works! - Using this product reduced my pre-op pain significantly. Previously the pain intermittently varied between non-existent and insupportable, ~75% of the time being quite uncomfortable (or worse). With the belt, the pain level ranges from non-existent (~75% of the time) to mild. The leg strap dangles uselessly (have not figured out how to properly adjust it), but all else is self-evident and easy to use. Waist - 35 inches, 5'10" 175 lbs. Bought the large size based on an attempt at hip measurement and the fit appears to be pretty good. Surgery now scheduled for the near future.
