Martex Vellux Blanket Ivory Queen

This blanket is a cheap imitation of the quality vellux blankets I have purchased over the years. It is not soft; the texture is very strange. It also actually left a peculiar coating on my hands. It's also suspicious that it was in a clear bag and the only label was "queen 90x90"; no other identifying marks or labels on bag or blanket itself. Amazon, I think you've been duped as I know I was.

This blanket was far from being soft like my other Martex Vellux blankets I'd purchased in the past. I decided to wash it with fabric softener and then put it in the dryer with a fabric sheet. It was much better, but not like my others purchased years ago. Did someone take over the manufacturing? They should go back to the original process. Next time, I'll go to a store and touch what I'm buying.

I wanted to replace my old martrx blanket which I've had many years and this one feels as though it will several me well. It has good body and keeps me warm without weight and does not aggravate my allergies.

It was not the true color that was shown. But it fading and getting to the true color. It also had 2 dark stripes on the blanket. Has a problem tearing at the top, at the border. Having to replace to often.

My daughter loves this cozy blanket. We had to wash it twice to get the "factory" smell out of it, but now it's great.

Bought this as a gift for my sister because she was not able to find any velux blankets locally. She loves it.

Had to replace my blanket like this that lasted Years and I loved it and I love this one !

It is a vellux blanket. Would have preferred a different color, but couldn't find one in the price range I wanted.
