Also, unlike many other ice packs on Amazon, this one is easy to use - it does not require much force to break open. My only comment is on the length of time the product is cold. In my experience, it stays cold for about 5 minutes and then gradually warms up. Shaking it helps prolong the temperature, but that requires removing the pack from the affected area, decreasing the effectiveness.
