Review: Terrific set of pans! - Received this item on time. I had purchased a frying pan of this kind of T-Fal several months ago then decided to get a set. I am a from scratch kind of cook so any pans I get do get a real work out. I have had Scan Pan and Calphalon cookware sets. Which had warranties I could have used to replace them but didn't want more of them. That said I had been using the frying pan for a while and liked it a lot! It lets you know when its warmed up (the frying pans only) and ready to use which is good for budding cooks (two twenty something sons finally learning to cook for themselves). When you are done it about rinses clean with no residue or slimy feel to it. I always look for non stick cookware to be dishwasher safe (I learned this from the Calphalon) and metal utensil safe. This set is both. If you put it in the dishwasher you need to re-season it every 10 washings. I don't like to wash stuff by hand but this cleans so easy I haven't put it in the dishwasher much at all. I have chronic tendinitis in my hands so I put everything in the dishwasher but again this cleans super easy in fact better than any non stick cookware I have owned (this is the fourth set). The best thing about this cookware is that it is light weight. I have a ceramic top stove and these pans sit flat on it and warm quickly and evenly. So far in the month I have been using them I have made sauces and stews, no problem. I have fried up a number of dishes without using hardly any oil. My youngest has made eggs and grilled cheese at 3 am and noticed the difference in pans. As to how it will hold up long term only time will tell. I love cooking with it, because it is light weight I'm not waiting forever for it to get hot like with the other two sets. There are no hot spots in the pans at all, in any of them. They are well priced and I feel you really get a lot of bang for your buck. These are a high recommend. I went back and purchased the T-Fal 10 inch saute pan with lid of this kind because this set is so good.

**Q: what size is each pot?**
A: from the t-fal web site http://www.t-falusa.com/All+Products/Cookware/Nonstick+Cookware/Products/Ultimate+Hard+Anodized/ULTIMATE+HARD+ANODIZED.htm says the three pots are as follows 5.6 Qt Covered Dutch Oven, 3.2 Qt Covered Sauce Pan,1.1 Qt Covered Sauce Pan, hope this helps.

**Q: I see that they sell the 10 in pan separately along with a lid.  Does one of the pot lids from the set fit the 10 in pan?**
A: The set, came with 3 sauce pans with lids, 2 fry pans and a Dutch oven with a lid. The largest lid fits the Dutch oven but does NOT fit the larger fry pan. Because of the flare of the sides of the fry pan, the inside diameter is 10-1/4" while the straight-sided Dutch oven inside diameter is 9-1/2". I hope this helps you.

**Q: Do the pan lids fit the frying pans?**
A: None of the lids fit the large frying pan. One of them works on the smaller one.

**Q: Is it possible for food to get underneath the rivets or are they coated with some material to prevent this issue?**
A: It is coated.  We have been using these since last December, and they are great.  No issues and we have teenagers that try to destroy them.  They have no cooking skills.
