The weight on the base of the lamp however does not keep the lamp from tipping over if you extend it too far. You have to keep the lower arm vertical or the lamp will tip Over.

I absolutely love this lamp, the size is perfect, it's nice lighting for virtual meetings on camera and it doesn't hurt my eyes. The three settings are ideal for whatever mood you're in. I have had this lamp about 10 months now, and it recently started flickering. I'm just now realizing the bulb is not replaceable. The flicker comes and goes so I'm just hoping to keep it as long as possible before I have to replace it.
