Better than colored hairsprays for temporary color
Used this for Halloween to take long light brown hair to black. The coverage was decent. It is definitely waxy, I'd say I got about 80% coverage before it felt like if I put on any more I wouldn't be able to brush or style it. I also brushed through while still wet so that I could distribute it through. Luckily my hairstyle was fairly messy so the end texture worked out. Despite this though, it went on fairly easily and runs circles around using colored hairsprays. For temporary one day color I'd use this anytime.

Almost perfect
This red was almost perfect but unfortunately it doesn’t dry all the way through so if you rub your hair onto something, it will transfer.

FUN!
If you have dark hair, the blue and purple don’t show as well. Need to use much more than lighter colors. I am disabled and wanted something fun in my life. This accomplished my goal.

Transfers
The colors aren’t very vivid and I needed a lot of product. Also even when the product is dry it transfers badly. This product stains your skin and everything it comes in contact with. I wouldn’t repurchase.

Would recommend, but with caution.
This looked more pink than red. It was very messy and stained my hands. After scrubbing and washing my hands multiple times it finally came off. It took a long time to dry in my opinion and was pretty thick in the hair. The majority of it came right out In the shower which was great because I got this for Halloween for my 8 year old daughter! Her hair had a little pink tint to it for a few days later but after a few showers it was fine. (She has dirty blonde hair color) I did have to scrub my shower though because it stained the shower pink. Had to replace the clear shower curtain liner but the tub is fine! I would recommend this product though as it’s a perfect one time quick color change option.

It works great, but the fragrance is too strong!
I got this for my three year old who wanted to have hair like a unicorn. I figured that since this washes out and appears to be fairly safe for her and her hair, why not try.We love the concentration of the colors, they so vibrant and beautiful. It is a really good and smooth texture to apply to hair. I let it dry it before brushing it out. It looked smooth and didn’t seem to make the hair appear dry, oily, or clumpy. It smells pretty initially, but it is soo strong it’s overwhelming. I can’t imagine a boy liking this strong perfume smell at all if they were wearing the hot color… I had to wash it out after just an hour because the scent was so powerful it was making me nauseous. The scent also stays on the hair after you have washed it. I also wanna note that even though this claims to be free of “harsh chemicals”, it does have PVP/ VA copolymer which is a “toxic chemical derived from petroleum”. The price was only 15.99 for 4 beautiful colors, so I can say that this was worth it. It made my kid very happy and it did look so fun and beautiful. I just wish it didn’t smell so potent.

Not good for long hair
Pros:1. Color does show up, even on darker brown hair with 2 coats2. Didn't flake off everywhere too bad when combing, just a little3. Was able to comb sections when wet, even long hair4. Washed out and didn't stain anythingCons:1. Not good for long hair, once it started drying I could no longer comb my hair and it was just a messIf my hair was short I think I'd be happy with this. I plan to try it on my husband's hair soon for Halloween. I also plan to try a small strip and maybe braid it while wet to just add some pops of color. My hair is a bit past my shoulders, and it was extra tangly for a few days even though it washed out ok.

Fun
I like that this is all natural. It gave a little bit of color to my brown haired kids. But worked as a good wax to keep their hair in mohawk. But they did have a slight amount of color, not much it would take a lot to get the color to show up. But now for my light haired girl, she had very cute pink hair and it was stiff at first. But when it dried we ran a comb through her hair and it loosedned it up and it looked cute and natural. Most of it dried and flaked off by the next day. And then just rinsing helped get it out. However the parts of skin that got it are still dyed a little and its been about a week.
