If you have any LED lights over your work area and they have a remote, you need the remote close at hand. I use this holder for both of those purposes. And I decided to get a second one. One for the little remotes and one for pens. Don’t know how I got along without it. It is so sturdy and so space-saving and the magnet is super strong so there’s no concern about it slipping. My remotes are rather short so I did put a little piece of foam in the bottom of it to keep them from being too deep. I like them to stick up so I can get them quickly with my fingers without reaching in.

Worked for what I needed. Strong magnetic hold on my magnetic white board. Can hold several markers, erasers, pointers etc. Lightweight and doesn't slide down my board. Good value for how strong the magnets are. I would also mention it is not a pure white but an off-white.
