The herb is gathered and dried for herbal use. Our Yu Xing Cao Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract is crafted from select dried herb, cold-macerated in small batches in a Vegetable Glycerin USP base and lab tested for identity and purity. Review: Great for facial moisturizer/toner - I haven’t seen any noticeable results from drinking this yet but, it’s made a huge difference topically. I dilute it with fresh aloe and apply it at night after cleansing my face and it moisturizes, tones, brightens, and even clears the wrinkles on my face! My mom stopped wearing makeup altogether because it’s helped clear her face up so much. We’ve only used it for a few weeks now but, it’s already made a big difference. I’m not sure if it’s the aloe or the houttuynia cordata that’s more effective. Either way, it makes for a great combination. ## Features - CLASSIC TCM HERB - Yu Xing Cao, the fish-smell herb, is used both as a vegetable and a medicine across China, Japan and Vietnam. Traditionally used to support healthy lungs, immune function and seasonal wellness.* - CAREFULLY CRAFTED - Made from select dried Houttuynia cordata herb, cold-macerated in small batches to preserve the plant's full natural spectrum, then lab tested for identity and purity. - ALCOHOL-FREE GLYCERITE - Gentle Vegetable Glycerin USP base with a naturally mild, slightly sweet taste. A great option for those who prefer to avoid alcohol. Vegan, handcrafted in small batches. - EASY TO USE - Please see the detailed directions on the product label. Best enjoyed mixed into a glass of water or your favorite juice. - HAWAII PHARM QUALITY - Family-owned brand crafting herbal extracts for over 15 years. It helps with breathing and the taste is wonderful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for facial moisturizer/toner *by M***K on June 15, 2019* I haven’t seen any noticeable results from drinking this yet but, it’s made a huge difference topically. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ helps with bartonella *by S***Y on October 13, 2018* Not sure how it stacks up to other brands or formulas of this herb because it is the first time i've ever taken houttuynia, but this has worked well for me to help treat bartonella. I can feel a clear difference in the neuropathy & other unpleasant sensations in my feet shortly after taking it. I don't notice any immediate relief in head pain after taking this, but after a few months (as part of my bart protocol, following what buhner recommends) the headaches & rage I was experiencing have lessened some. I am re-ordering and will stick with this brand, but am getting the alcohol based tincture this time as I want to compare effectiveness. edit 11/26/18- the alcohol tincture is also good. I feel like both are very effective. Going to stick with this brand from now on as I recently bought a generic version from an etsy seller and it doesn't seem to help my foot pain symptoms at all. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hawaii Pharm Yu Xing Cao Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract, Yu Xing Cao (Houttuynia Cordata) Dried Herb Glycerite Natural Herbal Supplement, USA 2 fl.oz - Hawaii Pharm Huang Qin Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract, Huang Qin, Scutellaria (Scutellaria Baicalensis) Root Glycerite Natural Herbal Supplement 2 oz - Hawaii Pharm Kudzu Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract, Organic Kudzu (Pueraria lobata) Dried Root Glycerite Natural Herbal Supplement 2 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/33426053-yu-xing-cao-herb-alcohol-free-extract-2-fl-oz](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/33426053-yu-xing-cao-herb-alcohol-free-extract-2-fl-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
