Review: Fantastic kit for 2026 to get your started! - I was incredibly skeptical about getting this kit now in 2026 but I searched the model kit on scalemates and was able to figure out the paints at a minimum should have a very low chance of dryness. I got the kit and all paints are good just need to slap them into some little paint dishes and add a little water or thinner and works like a charm. The kit was very easy to put together and I was impressed with the kit including not only instructions but also, including recommendations for items needed for the kit like pegs to keep parts together for glueing which is very helpful along with tape. The fit and detail are perfectly fine considering it’s an air fix kit. I enjoyed building this and as a military retiree it’s very much good for the soul if you need something to help you unwind.

I was incredibly skeptical about getting this kit now in 2026 but I searched the model kit on scalemates and was able to figure out the paints at a minimum should have a very low chance of dryness. I got the kit and all paints are good just need to slap them into some little paint dishes and add a little water or thinner and works like a charm. The kit was very easy to put together and I was impressed with the kit including not only instructions but also, including recommendations for items needed for the kit like pegs to keep parts together for glueing which is very helpful along with tape. The fit and detail are perfectly fine considering it’s an air fix kit. I enjoyed building this and as a military retiree it’s very much good for the soul if you need something to help you unwind.
