Making it wider and not so tall. I want it for a wide space with less height. Thank you!** A: Yeah you can. I did put a wooden back on it to stop the logs hitting off the painted wall. It's a solid metal frame **Q: What is the diameter of the vertical bar** A: The sides are all telescopic the outer bar is 30mm and the inner one is 25mm but once assembled its definitely sturdy hopefully that helps. **Q: Can this be placed sideways?** A: Not sure what you mean sideways, but it’s freestanding so you can put it any where/way you like. It’s sturdy, so would also “lay down” if that’s what’s required. **Q: Is it possible to have a bespoke width? Is it just a screw to drill a hole for or is it bolted through entire frame please?** A: It has 3 different holes for the width, so can already be adjusted to 3 widths.
