I used the Scaraway for about 2 years. I wished it worked for me, but it did not. Who want ugly keloid? It stopped the itching while you wear the patch, but the itching comes back when you take it off. It did not stop the keloid growing. I went to the dermatologist tried the steroid shots. Fortunately it worked for me after 4-5 shots. It flattened the keloid but you still can see the ugly red mark. No more itching. **Q: All the reviews have been for scars that are 2-3 years old. My scar is a highschool bike accident 12 yrs old. Will Scaraway help?** A: It depends on what type of scar it is. I have two keloid scars on my shoulder that ScarAway originally helped but after I had finished with 3 boxes. the scars returned to their previous prominence because I stopped using the product. I did not expect the scars to return but, unfortunately, they did. These scars are several years old now and it looks like they will need plastic surgery since this product and several others did not work. **Q: How long are you supposed to keep this on a day? I want to get rid of a bump from my nose piercing, so only want to wear it at night** A: At least 8 hours a day. However, this means it will take longer to see results. I wore it on a new scar 20 hours a day for 10 weeks and saw no results... **Q: How long I could use for one piece?** A: You can rinse with soap and water and reuse a piece for about one week.
