Made in japan with attention to detail, the handle is comfortable and the head is finished well, with one concave and one hammering head. This makes it a versatile hammer. Your environment can affect the heads fit, moisture will make the wood expand, and a dry environment could make it shrink. If this is a problem, this would be easily fixed by placing a wedge in it.
