I work with drafting software so I need to do a lot of click & drag, and I was always having issues. Additionally, if I was typing really fast it would occasionally skip a letter. I had a friend recommend to plug the receiver into one of the USB ports on my dock instead of the laptop. I tried this just a few weeks ago and my issues have improved tremendously!! It looks great. The keys are soft to touch and click smoothly. The click sounds is satisfying as it's not too loud but just loud enough. It does not have an off switch of any kind which I don't like but it does seem to have a self shut down. After about a month of using it, the keys started to not work spaertically for a couple of weeks and it got worse until the light started flashing letting me know the battery was dying. After replacing the battery, the keys are back to working. The mouse is also soft to touch and moves smoothly across the mouse pad. It clicks and scrolls with ease. It also does not have a power switch but will auto sleep and wakes by clicking once. The set was very easy to install. I just plugged the USB in and started using.
