Helizone Lightning Bird WL V911 Bind & Fly ARF - Helicopter only

I was a little skeptical in buying this, simply because the only seller that sells this was Cool Stuff Place. I bought a pair of spare heli batts from them once and they were both dud! ! BUT, I'm glad I risked, because this v911 is awesome. Out of the box, I didn't even have to do any servo steering bar adjustments and it flies great, as good as, if not better than v911 PRO. In fact its so good, i'm probably ordering another one :) get them before they're all gone!

Second one Ive bought. Love it. First one lasted over a year flying indoors and outdoors almost every day, but then I super crashed it and it was cheaper and less time consuming to buy another one rather than replace parts. These heli's from Wltoys are great 4ch units. Anyone looking for a great starter into the hobby should consider these as well as seasoned pros who are looking for some cheap additions to just fly around. These things are excellent quality for the price range and when you get into the upgrading of them, they become even better.

Out of the box the Lightning flew better than the orange/black v911. Recently upgraded rotor head w/ cnc aluminum head off ebay. Fly's even better now. I've crashed it a bunch and had to replace the tail rotor a couple times. Seems the exposed shaft will take a whack and the motor breaks. Fairly easy to replace. Have also replaced pcb cause servo stopped working. But I'm not really put off by that kind of stuff especially in something so light and crashed so much. It worked when I got it so i'm chalking the failure up to my use. Outside in calm air it is great fun to fly. Can get really crazy! Got one of those solar/USB charger devices to recharge LiPos in the field and it works great.

Don't fly this as your first Helo....you will kill it. I have had 2 coaxials before this. Let me tell you, even though it is relatively cheap, this thing zips around and is about as stable as you could want. You can side flare with it, hover well, and did I mention it's fast. I nosed this little bullet over and it was across the room. I let off cyclic and it settled into steady flight, decelerated to a mild rendition of a hover!!!! Super stoked. So much so, i bought a second one....yep, that just happend.

Fun, Fast Heli, many upgrades and parts available. Can hoover well and take a crash...

Best deal online for one of these. Super fast, fragile though. Will spend more time repair than fly, buts that's the game

This is an exact copy of a regular v911 but in a different color which in my opinion looks really cool. The flight characteristics are exactly the same as any other v911. I'm not sure if it is just this heli but the pinon and main rotor gear engagement is louder but this does not affect anything at all, just merely an observation. I converted the connector to ultra micro connectors to use the e-flite style battery.The heli comes in a nice box but it literally comes with nothing else, there is no instructions or spare parts just the heli
