Many of the lessons I would consider advanced (things you learn about in art school), but don’t be intimidated if you are new. These techniques are foundational and helpful to learn early. Having had similar education as Loish, I can compliment her on her thoroughness and ability to visually show you the concepts each lesson is teaching. She teaches art like an animator, and in my honest opinion, those are the best art teachers. They approach art like a key frame instead of a stagnant image, and this book does just that. Final thoughts: would recommend this book to anyone who is still learning and growing in art. You may know some things, but there’s always something to learn from any artist.
