The holes don’t align well and the screws are pretty big in diameter so doesn’t leave much room to try to “squeeze them in”. We can’t even get the stand together to use the grinder itself. Review: Don’t buy this one! Shoddy screws/bolts and nuts don’t work. Nothing fits right. - I could have assembled a dozen IKEA products in the time it took to put this thing together. I doubt I’ll ever buy another Bilt Hard tool. The screw/bolts didn’t work with the nuts, requiring a trip to the hardware store to get the right ones. I gave up on the spark control shields; the screws did not fit the holes. The bench was a bear to assemble and came out crooked even after triple-quadruple checking everything against the instructions. It took several hours to bring this tool to a point where I can work with it.
