The black strips are actually printed onto the glass so there are no ridges making it really easy to clean. It was very easy to fit although I had to drill new holes in the mounting bracket so I didn’t have to make more holes in my tiles. It’s fairly heavy as you would expect but moves easily and returns to the centre position automatically if you move it for cleaning. The included rubber strip works well and can be trimmed depending on your needs. Would definitely recommend this as a well priced replacement!

Yes, this is one sheet of glass and the grid is on the exterior surface. Unfortunately I have never seen one in the flesh I'm afraid so cannot advise on how the grid is adhered to the surface I'm sorry.

Bought this to replace the leaky screen in our bathroom. I’m really impressed with it. It’s very sturdy and looks really modern. The black strips are actually printed onto the glass so there are no ridges making it really easy to clean. It was very easy to fit although I had to drill new holes in the mounting bracket so I didn’t have to make more holes in my tiles. It’s fairly heavy as you would expect but moves easily and returns to the centre position automatically if you move it for cleaning. The included rubber strip works well and can be trimmed depending on your needs. Would definitely recommend this as a well priced replacement!
