That shade in particular was a tad bit gritty, compared to other micas that I'm used to using, however, I believe that it was more just a difference in mica types, nothing to do with the shade itself. The paint swatch that I made turned out beautiful, and pigmented. Very reflective. (So far I've used "blue-red-purple", will be using others as soon as finals are done). Will purchase this again, in the future, or at least different shades from the same shop. I do need to mention that they were also packaged wonderfully for shipping. The other package that I ordered from a different company leaked on the way over; this one did not. The pigments were shrink wrapped together, so the lids stayed on, and the did not move around in the box on the way over.
