Review: Will buy again. - Great value.
Review: Suppliers vary - and batteries may vary with them - When I ordered these batteries, the supplier shown was "MLC Distribution, Inc". Now MLC is listed as one of the suppliers in the "More Buying Choices" section. This is important because the factor most likely to affect the quality of this sort of battery is the length of time since manufacturing. So my experience with MLC may not be representative of a different supplier who may or may not be selling equally fresh stock. The batteries I received indicated "377/376" as their type, and I recall seeing that in the picture at the time I placed my order. The current listing - with a different supplier and a different price - appears to have a different picture showing only the number "377" on the packaging. My comments about the product are based on my experience with the batteries I received, and may or may not be applicable to what is currently being shipped. My order was delivered promptly via US mail. The batteries I received were exactly what I expected - the right brand, the right size and type, and a match to the picture in the listing from when I ordered them. They had a date code of "JC" which is Energizer's code for October, 2010. Energizer's technical literature indicates a predicted shelf life of 7 years for their silver oxide button cells, assuming a storage temperature below 70 degrees. (Colder is better, down to well below zero degrees Fahrenheit.) This means these batteries, while not exactly factory fresh, still have plenty of shelf life remaining. I've only used one of the ten so far. I measured its no-load voltage at 1.566 volts, which is reasonable for the silver oxide chemistry. I didn't do any load testing, other than installing it in a watch and verifying that the watch seemed to run OK. Overall, the ten batteries cost me about what I would have paid for one battery at a local store. I'd say this was an excellent deal. To reduce risk if you order these, check with the currently indicated supplier to find the date code for the batteries they are currently selling. Then call Energizer Customer Service at 800-383-7323 to find out the actual date of manufacture for that code. (Why don't they just put the date on the package?) Don't order unless the batteries are fresh enough for your needs. If you are concerned about prolonging shelf life, you can store this type of battery in your refrigerator or freezer. Energizer's data indicates that this can extend shelf life to 10 years or beyond. You should allow chilled batteries to warm up to room temperature before using them.

## Features

- High energy density has been achieved owing to the Energizer's original high-precision material-mixing technology. The use of antioxidant, high performance separators also contributes to improved storage characteristics.
- Excellent stable discharge characteristics. Constant voltage output is available during the discharging.
- Excellent leakage resistance. Energizer-unique sealing structure, coupled with special sealing- material treatment, has helped accomplish the excellent leakage resistance.
- Excellent service maintenance; in excess of 90% after storage at 70°F for 5 years

## Questions & Answers

**Q: my battery is very tini it says SR626SW can I use this battery for a replacement**
A: See watchbatterycrossreference.com SR626sw is the same as 377

**Q: My battery says 377a. Can I use a 377 as a replacement?**
A: NO... they are NOT exact equivalents. The 377a is an alkaline NOT silver battery. The 377's have a much longer shelf and operating life (in most devices), i.e. never use the "a" version in watches. Also note that the 377's have an almost flat voltage vs. time curve, whereas the 377a's have a gradual slope in the voltage. Devices depending on the constant voltage must use the silver version.

**Q: What is the manufacture and expiration date?**
A: Energizer customer service told me these packages with no expiration dates are sold for commercial use only. I had the two letter date code off the package and they still could not tell me how old these batteries are.

**Q: You do not clearly state how many batteries are being sold. How many are there for $4.76 + free shipping?**
A: title is clear. this sale is for 10 377 batteries
