Do you *need* this pigtail? No. But I have to say it’s a real time saver. The leads on the switch itself are a little tight. Most people don’t have the necessary connector crimp-ons to do it right, even if you do, this pigtail is still a sweet buy.In less than 3 minutes this puppy was attached & crimped to the line. I love easy!Highly recommended 👍🏽 Helpful?👇🏽

Purchased this switch along with:Ulincos Latching Pushbutton Switch U19C1 1NO1NC SPDT ON/OFF Black Metal Shell with Blue LED Suitable for 19mm 3/4" Mounting Hole (Blue)for an install of a switch to my 2018 Silverado's bed lighting. I made my own wire harness bundle after the pigtail. In combination with the switch mentioned, install is easy and looks great. Time will tell how this all hold up since this is located in the bed of my truck, but I will say that the bed does have a tonneau cover on and does not leak water - at least none that I've ever seen.I also like the fact that there are several colors to the LED to select - this could be great not only to use your preferred color, but also if you have more than one button need in the same location and you desire to color code your buttons in addition to or instead of labeling them.
