I was looking for something that was 1) small and didn't take up hardly any space, 2) folded up and folded out easy enough for a 3 year old to use 3) was light enough for the 3 year old to carry around, and 4) was study enough for an adult. This stool has exceeded all expectations for what I needed. It folds up and goes out of site when not in use, but is actually not in my way when folded out in the kitchen because of its small size. It is very simple to use; folding up and out in a easily in a second, It is extremely light at just over a lb. and it is plenty sturdy and capable of holding me at 210 lbs with ease.
