## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does it take for a medium roast at full capacity?**
A: You can expect the SR800 with the extension tube to roast 8oz to a medium roast in 6-8min.

**Q: How does the extension tube help the roasting?**
A: Hi Moishe,
The extension tube creates a vortex that forces the air into a smaller space which allows the unit to move the beans at a lower fan speed setting.
It also gives you the opportunity to roast additions 2-3 oz. of beans.
I hope this answers your question.
Tim

**Q: Electric roasters never work properly because they can't get hot e nough why is this any different?**
A: These Fresh Roast machines get around 480*F. And can be adjusted down easily. Which is plenty hot for the process.

**Q: Any way to buy the extension tube only?**
A: Yes directly through fresh roast website.
