Works great, but my use probably isn’t typical
I built a propane powered flame thrower to put in a jack-o-lantern. This was my nozzle. Worked great. Should be fine in a fire pit, too. If you want to do something normal.

Extreme hazard
I could not believe how unsafe this item was. Unit is very unstable when mounted to the propane bottle. Any slight gust of wind and it would fall over. Flames tend to be too high or too low or greatly affected by the wind. Buyer beware. This item should be removed and banned from Amazon.
