Authentic Caperberries, 32 oz.

Kind of astringent flavor and rather pricey. The only place I could find them though so I guess that counts for something. Maybe if I rinse them really well and soak in a homemade vinaigrette they’ll be more palatable.

These caperberries are bigger than all the others I have tried. They are crunchy and tasty and great in salads. If you like caperberries try this brand. They are a little salty but not as salty as a lot of others I've tried. Too bad one customer got a leaky jar bringing down the rating, mine was packed well and undamaged. These are the best I've tried so far! Edit I ordered a jar last week and after a few days I was told it was undeliverable and I would get a refund. I ordered another jar and today found a huge filthy, leaky box in front of my door. I opened it up to find a huge plastic bag full of wet cardboard and broken glass , reeking of vinegar. They obviously took the broken jar ,reboxed it and sent it to me. WTF ! I tried calling Amazon and got the moronic automated rep who told me I ordered it over 30 days ago and there was nothing they could do. I finally got in touch with a human who told me they would refund both jars. I am angry with Amazon for using this moronic vendor who thought it would be a good idea to send a customer a big box of leaky smelly garbage !

I've tried other brands of caperberries where the size runs from very small to medium. Supremo berries are just as they advertise they're all huge. The brine is also a little less salty.

Our caperberries were just what the doctor ordered. Cannot find them locally any more, so we had to go this route. Glad we did.
