**Q: Is it magnetic?**
A: It would be great if it was magnetic for those who use a car vent style magnetic mount rather than ruining the dash with adhesive style mount. Don't like window mount either.

A: I’m sure it would work, however, that ring would come open constantly. It doesn’t lock shut, the whole ring just locks inside the case.
