Yes, it contains salt. Ingredients: salt, monosodium glutamate, paprika, black pepper, dehydrated garlic, dehydrated onion, cayenne pepper, dextrose, silicon dioxide.

Q: Any reason why silicon dioxide is an ingredient? Isn't that sand?

I don't see silicon dioxide in the ingredient list, but I do see MSG...this isn't necessary. No way around it, MSG is NOT good for you. I was all ready to purchase this product and couldn't find an ingredient list on Amazon so I did a search and found it easily. I won't be purchasing this product now that I know it contains MSG (and it is the SECOND ingredient). It has great ingredients like Papain and then they include MSG??? If they ever take it out I'd be happy to purchase, until then I'll just make my own blend. Here are the ingredients I found: Salt, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Black Pepper, Garlic, Paprika, Onion, Spices, Spice Extract, Papain.
