I washed the beads with soap and water and let dry in sun. Had to do it a second time. The black does not get on skin. The bracelet broke and I had to restring it. I was lucky it broke in the house and I didn't lose any shungite beads. I'd only purchased it a month ago. Stretch bracelets do break easy, so to make a better bracelet the string material needs to be changed.Update: The black is rubbing off some of the beads to reveal a lighter color underneath. I don't believe shungite would have such a coating. They must be fake beads.

Received this bracelet in good time and nicely packaged in a small pouch with certificate of authenticity. I was hoping that the beads would be shinier/more polished, but they have a somewhat dull finish. Perhaps that's the nature of regular shungite vs. Elite Shungite, which has a beautiful sheen. The spacer beads are glass, which I expected, but give the bracelet a more interesting aesthetic than all the beads being the same size. At least that's my preference. The one negative is the stretch cord which the beads are strung on. It's very thin and not at all sturdy. I expect that's true of pretty much any of the stretchy bracelets available, especially for the price, which is very reasonable. Plus I've read in other reviews for other bracelets from other vendors that this has also been a problem and can lead to breakage before long. I don't blame the vendor for this. But something to be careful about. You don't want it to break and have your beads go flying everywhere. My fix is to do a quick restringing of the beads on a sturdier elastic. (I recommend Beadalon, which you can buy at any decent craft store that sells beads. Plus you'll have leftover cord to make more bracelets yourself if you're so inclined.) All in all, though, I'm happy with my purchase. This was the first of two purchases I've made so far from this vendor, and am very happy with both. Heka has earned a loyal customer here. One thing I strongly suggest is, while you're shopping for shungite items, carefully look at the product descriptions and specifications. I found one vendor, don't remember who now, that listed jet as the material rather than shungite. Jet is a similar, black, lightweight organic stone, but it's not shungite. So it's reassuring to receive the certificate of authenticity with your purchase so you know you're getting the real deal. Definitely recommend and will continue to do business with Heka. Perfect fit, looks very nice, authentic and effective. It's real shugite, so be sure to rinse and use a rag to rub off the excess black powder all around the balls. Otherwise you might be one of those stupid reviews that states their clothes or wrist got black and ruined. Basically, don't be stupid and you'll love this item.

It says 'natural stone'; I swear, what I got, is plastic balls. Not happy.

I love the design, but unfortunately it was poorly made. I wore it for less than one week, taking it off when I showered so it wouldn’t wear out so fast, but the chord broke and I almost lost one of the beads. It looks great, and I know how to restring it because I do beadwork. As far as the shungite itself, I didn’t test it to make sure it was authentic, but I’m sure it is. I have quite the collection of this stone, and it seems to be real.Overall, it’s a nice looking bracelet, but I wouldn’t recommend paying what I paid for this.

Grateful beyond words! Bracelet is beautiful. After it arrived, I placed it under warm running water for two minutes then I placed it in the sun for three hours, turning it over once half way through. I put it on around 2:00 pm. Every night for at least the past six months I have had rapid heart beat, insomnia, anxiety, visual issues, eye twitches, and so forth. Recently, the symptoms have become worse and I started getting headaches too. After wearing it for about five hours I realized I wasn't feeling my heart race or my eye twitch. That night I wore it to bed along with a shungite pendant. I didn't sleep through the night, I did wake up a few times, but I went back to sleep, I didn't feel anxious, no heart palpitations, no headache... I am BEYOND grateful! I have been using melatonin, lorazepam, xanax, GABA, and more to try to calm my heart and my anxiety. I really do not want to be on drugs so I am beyond grateful for this healing stone, and I do believe in time I will be sleeping through the night again. Please remember to clean it first as they suggest (water and sun) and then welcome it into your life and be well.

I bought this bracelet for my mother who after wearing it for one day after washing it, her wrist is black. I bought a bracelet from another seller and this didn’t happen to me. Not sure if this is normal for shungite

Great for man or woman. The closure strings are a little hard to adjust so you have to pull steady with power. Easier to have someone else help. Well made and should last a long time. Once you put it on, you should leave it on for protection day and night.

The media could not be loaded.  The Strength of the carbon in this shungite seems pretty low because it could hardly light up the bulb when I tried it in the circuit I’ll try and upload the video to show the difference.Update.... I could not update the two videos showing with and without the shungite in the circuit. However this video shows a flicker of light when the shungite is connected in the circuit. It was really dim so i question the amount of shungite in this bracelet!Another Update ...the bracelet has busted. So fragile, it busted! It lasted less than a week 😟😟😟😟

Update: Heka have been kind enough to offer me a replacement which I have accepted as I love it so much and trust and hope I will have better quality strap this time.---I should have taken heed of all the other reviews of this bracelet breaking up into bit... truly upset the poor quality thread or string used to bead this bracelet gave up its life today but did NOT show any sign of weakness or fraying untill I heard the beads pop and roll away... I am sending it back even though some beads have rolled away into the futurePlease if you are reading this message leave these beads alone.

I have had this bracelet less than 24hrs I put it on this afternoon and while out walking with a friend the elastic broke. Amazon told me that this product could be replaced but I would need to contact the seller. So I did and the were completely USELESS.So I hope Amazon will remove them from their sellers list.You should be able to wear this more than once without it breaking!!! And I asked for a replacement rather than a refund but as the seller wasn’t a bit interested I will now get a refund and right this review to warn others that this product is not fit for purpose and quite frankly I don’t think the seller should be selling such shoddy products on Amazon

Both bracelets have already broken extremely disappointing

Arrived today and very pleased with it. I have a small wrist and its a perfect fit but I do not think it would fit a man! Remember to rinse when it arrives and ROLL it on. Many thanks
