The way it swivels makes peeling so easy because it peels the vegetable/fruit smoothly, almost with no effort. I'm able to peel a whole side of a carrot with one stroke instead of multiple times. Peeling all the way around apples and potatoes is easy as well. The handle is big, comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver. It has a good weight to it too. I ordered the black handle because that one was on sale, but I like that you can choose the handle's color (there are like 17 colors to choose from!) Overall, this vegetable peeler is well made and even though I've only had it for about 8 months, it looks like it will last many years.

I have never liked peeling vegetables or fruit with traditional peelers. They are just not easy for me to use. This peeler, however, is a game changer!
