Expensive But A Treat Well Worth It!
I first had Maebo's One-Ton Chips in Hawaii and loved them. They are expensive but well worth it to have this delicious treat at home.

So disappointed - especially for the premium price! Buyer beware - DO NOT PURCHASE
I seldom write reviews but owe this information to other shoppers. These arrived in crumbles AND stale. Who ships chips in an envelope? Then I find out that I cannot return - stuck with a bad product at a sky high price.

Smashed chips were delivered
I usually love these and buy them all the time...however this time they came and the delivery was abour 4 days late and all the chips were smashed. I'd compare them to crumbs rather than chips....for the cost...it was very disappointing. Hard to enjoy all crumbled. :(

Not what I was expecting - they're kind of sweet?
So this wasn't what I was expecting - I LOVE wonton strips so I thought I'd try these. They were kind of sweet which was not what I was expecting. That's more on me, but it wasn't what I was hoping for. If you don't mind them being slightly sweet, this would be a great fit for you!

Thanks for the expensive BAG OF CRUMBS!
The bag of chips was sent in a priority mail PAPER PACKAGE, NOT a box, NO "fragile" written on it, NO bubble wrap. It's impossible to contact Jason Fusao Takeda/Isle Shores or AMAZON in regards to the damaged product! Thanks for the expensive bag of CRUMBS!

We bought it in Hawaii on our last trip and they were amazing. Yum
I liked the flavor they're not too salty or too much of the other crazy taste. All good.

A Ton of Taste
I first had these in Hawaii and got hooked. They are best described as similar to the crunchy Chinese noodles you get when you order a soup from a Chinese restaurant. They are far more flavorful and much larger and denser - hence the weightlifter on the bag, as they are a power snack! Since One Ton Chips are made by a small company on Hawaii, they may be pricier than other snacks, but worth it if you enjoy the taste.
