Using this for necklace cording and it's virtually unbreakable.

For a small cord, it is very strong. I use it to put tension on a small distance (approx. 5 - 6 inches) between harp tuning pins. Even with considerable tension, there is no sign of breakage. It is also a beautiful brass color which was hard to find.

Great for kendama's very strong. have not had one break yet.

The court was well-made and very strong.

This does split easily and was difficult to string small beads on

stretches easily so, if you're looking for a cord that holds its shape, this isnt it. ie. if you are making a 16" necklace, with even the least amount of weight attached to it, it will stretch out of shape.

I bought the 1mm black cord a few months ago and was very pleased with the thickness. It was perfect for my jewelry. I reordered and what I received was thinner than my .8mm cord and also a different construction. What I ordered before was very smooth. This one is rough to the touch. There are no lot numbers so I can't provide that info. I really want what I ordered the first time but afraid to have a replacement to only receive what I just received.

I often bypass reviews that I consider obvious. I was close in this case, but this cord matches the original perfectly, and since I only had one chime to rehang it simplified the aesthetic of the repair.
