I almost always wear an 8.5 and the 8.5 in these shoes were a little snug at first and the more I wore them the more perfect they fit. They are very comfortable and easy to walk in. I commute into nyc and walk to work everyday so it is important that I wear comfortable shoes and these are great. I have not had any issues since. They are a little annoying to get on and off since there is no zipper but overall they are a great shoe and great color. This is a bona-fide size 6 in US size. Here's the deal: If you're going to advertise the size as UK - then send the appropriate size! I started a return but have already ordered the same in a size US 8 from another seller. I go between an 8-8.5 but definitely went with 8 because these are real suede and they will STRETCH.Edit: Following up with results of the size 8. Still too small, as it turns out. I'll need to go up half a size but I've already worn the 8 so I won't be able to return them. I always order the same size and they have the same fit every time, no matter the boot. Gorgeous material. Gorgeous color. I purchased them in anthracite and it's somewhere between slate and lavender. The only reason I always rate a 4 is that more padding on the inside of the boot would take them from great to the best pair of boots on the planet. I'm an urbanite and walk a lot and am on my feet constantly. To their credit, they withstand a tremendous amount of wear and tear.
