Review: Very solid product! - I have a Tundra. I used this as an option for that annoying space that no one can every seem to find a use for. It fits nicely and is very secure. Eventually I took it down because I still don't put anything up there. The plastic is very solid and durable. The only negative is that the plastic can be a bit slick, so it may be good to put something in there to keep things from sliding.
Review: Not a bad tray - but needs some work or improvements - read for install advice - Ordered this try for my 2017 Tundra, Crewmax. For those of you that own Tundra's from 2014 to 2021, you pretty much know that tray/divot in your dash is kind of useless. Put a pair of sunglasses there and take a turn, your glasses end up sliding off the dash.. So this looked like a nice accessory to keep things steady and in place. . For one, the two sided tape they include on this tray (Pre stuck on) doesn't adhere to the dash. I degreased the area and followed up with denatured alcohol, 4 times, to prep it. It's almost like the dash polymer is the same material as the 2 sided tape strip you pull off to expose the adhesive. It simply doesn't stick. I then removed it off the tray (It comes off very easily) degreased the back of the tray, and tried the max strength 3M, 2 sided tape (Dark Gray with red backing). Again, this doesn't work as well. So there are two things that will work, as I ran into a similar situation with some accessory stainless steel plates I bought for my Tundra (Center console cover and arm rest cover, you can get them on desertcart). . FIRST! Degrease and prep the area of the dash (If you've put any dash treatments (armor all, klasse, whatever) on the dash you want it thoroughly degreased and cleaned. Use a purple degreaser, like Zep, 409 or something similar, then follow it up with alcohol. Wipe it down with Alcohol 3 or 4 times, let it dry. . Alternatives: 1. You can use a silicon adhesive. Buy the black silicone adhesive (similar to "Caulking" but in a small squeeze tube). Just put three (3) dabs on the back of the tray, about half the size of a Hershey's kiss, (two in the back, one in front, be sure to not put it where your 3 alignment slits are in the dash, where the Silicone can get in there if you want to remove it later). Put the tray in place. Put two water bottles in the tray and leave it there overnight. Make sure it's not moving, so maybe use some blue tape on all the sides to secure it in place. The constant weight of the water bottles will be enough to keep it down and get the right adhesion at the right level. You can still remove the tray in the future, with a little work, and you should be able to remove what's left of any silicon adhesive. . 2. The other method, which I used, was to use the max strength Hook and Loop fastening tape (You know the brand, starts with a "V").. You can get it in 2" x 3" squares. I cut them in half so I had 3 equal pieces. Put three pieces on the back of the tray (2 in the back, 1 in the front) With both male and female pieces stuck together, with the ROUGH scratchy side of the Hook and Loop tape sticking to the tray). Then set it in place. For whatever reason, the adhesive on the Hook and Loop fastener does stick. . Also, in the ad it might be a bit confusing, but the tray doesn't come with a rubber matt or anything like that. It's just the plastic tray itself and the optional removable Phone attachment. I'm not going to use the Phone Attachment as I have a phone attachment I use. But, the factory pad/tray you have with your Tundra (the rubber one), does fit inside. Even though the factory tray has the 3 alignment tabs on the back, to make sure it stays in place on your dash, it sits in there okay for what it is. You can trim the tabs, but if you ever decide to remove the tray and go back to stock that pad won't stay put. . ROOM for IMPROVEMENT: 1. I'm not sure why accessory manufacturers never use this, but those 3 alignment slits, on the dash, for the dash pad that comes stock, would be perfect alignment slits to use for accessories such as this. Meaning if they put "fins" on the back of the accessory it would ensure you have a perfect alignment every time. Just a suggestion. . 2. This accessory tray has that little cutout in it for the phone accessory attachment. If you don't want to use it, that hole is exposed. The maker of this should include a cap you can put in there to cover up the hole. Just a suggestion. Other than that, it does the job and kinda breaks up the dash a bit. Looks good and at least I know stuff will stay put now.

### ⭐ Poor construction
*by D***E on January 2, 2025*

The tray had 2 sided tape all over the back, none of which stuck to the dash. The clip for the phone holder was poorly made and couldn't even be connected. Returned immediately and waiting on replacement by different manufacturer.
