The Q on each band always seems to be exactly what I’m looking for (nice). To find the right spot, first max/min the level for hi or lo, sweep the freq to where you want then go back and adjust the level to taste. Takes literally 5 sec. Very nice clean boost (oil) with freq set to 12 o’clock (where the freq are disabled entirely). Noise not an issue at all. You can add or subtract bass and treble from your signal independently. I find this to be better than the traditional tone knob that most boost pedals have. Every knob can be set to neutral if you don't wish for them to be altered in your tone. It is, by far, the best boost pedal that I've run in to my Orange Rockerverb 50 MII 2x12 combo. As Orange amps are notoriously finicky about pedals running in front of the amp, I was rated. It's also brilliant in front of my Peavey 5150 Mk I.
