I highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mic stand. *by B***W on January 22, 2023* This boom stand is different than most in that it does not have a separate boom that screws on the top. The boom is an integral feature that nests inside the main tube when it is not needed. Sort of like a Yamaha cymbal stand boom. Despite having no counterweight, the boom angle adjustment tightens and holds the arm securely. I regularly use this fully extended to put an x-y pair of condensers in a grand piano with no stability problems at all. The stand is light, and folds compactly, yet is extremely stable. The only thing to watch is that the boom will not swing laterally, if you are a drummer who likes to swing the mic out of the way when it isn't being used, will not work for this.
