I just moved into a home that doesn't have a fenced yard. I have a little dog and I was going outside with her every time she needed to go out, even in the cold, I had to keep an eye on her. I got this Dog Playpen and put it up around my front door. I don't actually have it in its own enclosure. Two sides are open on either side of my little porch, and then one of the pieces with the gate goes across the sidewalk. So I can just open my door, let my dog out, and watch her from inside the storm door. She loves having her little enclosure and I can tell it helps her feel safe and it takes her way less time to find that perfect spot to go lolThe only issue I had with this was that one of the openings where you slide the post had some balls of metal keeping the post from going down in it. fortunately my friend is a welder and he took a file and just knocked them off and it was good as new. He laughed and said they called them dingleberries or something like that.Overall I love this little fence, way easier to use than I had expected and WAY cheaper than installing a fence in the yard. I hope it lasts through the year with the weather!! So far so good!

I’d buy it again if- I had too. These gates have been amazing. Incredibly durable and well made.Bought to keep a new puppy from going up and downstairs without adult supervision and we're currently using them to block one set of steps up and then another to keep him off new carpet in the basement, as a “kennel” for the pup to sleep in in the bedroom, and have extra still to use.No damage on our hardwood from him nosing around to try to break containment or sneak upstairs, or from us moving it around to use the stairs ourselves.They look good, are easy to put together/take down/move, and wear well. We even used extra pieces to block off an ornamental tree in the yard for the summer when the pup started recreational digging. Was out for about 6 months rain and shine (and even survived a limb from another tree falling across them).Only draw back is the clearance needed to walk thru the gate pieces as it’s taller than other pet gates. Would def take getting used to.

Overall we are happy with our purchase and this playpen is nicely made for the price. It is extremely easy to assemble and it looks quite nice as well. My only complaint is that it is more noisy and clanky when dogs jump up on it or if you bump into it than I expected it to be. As you can see from the picture that I attached the rods that connect each panel are round and the connectors they slide into on the panels are large squares, so there is a good amount of wiggle room and it makes for a noisy and not tight fit. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if you plan to use it outside and drive the stakes into the ground for more stability. This playpen fit our needs in all other regards, so we did keep it despite the noise/stability issues. If the manufacturer creates a tighter fit for the rods and panels, this playpen would be very close to perfect! All in all, I feel like this is worth the cost compared to many other playpens on the market and we are happy with our purchase.

I purchased this item after seeing it at my daughters house. She uses it to house rabbits, but I purchased mine to take camping for our dog. I have a 50 pound pitbull and it is a nice size for her to have room to walk around in, lay in, and even play in. I like that it will stay upright on our outdoor patio concrete slab or outdoor rug. It’s not as sturdy on a hard surface versus being able to put the stakes in the ground, but definitely still useful and stays upright.It is super easy to assemble. My 12 year old son likes to put it together in various designs (rectangle, circle, L shaped, oval…).Very pleased with my purchase.One improvement would be if it came in a carry bag! The box only lasted a couple camping trips. Especially after it rained :/ So we’re looking for some type of bag or box to put it in after we disassemble it.

It is exactly what it looked like on line. Sturdy, well coated metal, height is perfect and I love the fact I can order more panels to make it even larger, I am happy with the product other then one of the panels were slightly damaged at the bottom and their is plug missing from one of the panel legs. The box was damaged and there was hole at the bottom of the box.

After our beloved Border Collie ruined our first portable hot tub, we started looking for solutions to keep her away from the new one! We looked at many different kinds of gates made of all kinds of materials, but everything was either too expensive or just didn't work with our patio. Then we ran across this play pen! We thought it looked great aesthetically but wondered how sturdy it would be. My husband put it up in no time! He couldn't believe how easy it was! It fit all the way around our hot tub and looked great! We even had a few panels left over to set up between the house and fence to keep our rascal from digging there! We've had this up for over 2 months now and have found it to be the perfect solution for us! The dog stays out and it makes our backyard look like more of an oasis. :)

Excited to use this next week on our spring break camping trip. I have had it set up at my house and it appears to be super well made. Very easy to assemble. I bought the 24 panel version and I think I will buy another 8 panel section to add to it. My only suggestion would be is to include some velcro straps to hold the disassembled fence for transport. I ended up ordering a small set of straps to aid in transporting when we camp. I read in the other reviews there were supposed to be protective caps for the rods, I don't recall seeing any in my box.
