One would figure that purchasing the pair, you would get exact matches. Not only were the parts slightly different (had to fit together by trial-and-error; which iron attached to which), but the size and color differ too. I received 2 different shades - one was bright red and the other was a deeper red. One was about 1/2-inch shorter. Not too much of a game-changer for me, so will keep.
