Review: great replacement outdoor porch light for RV's - I replaced my RV porch light with this led unit. It provides just the right amount of light and it doesn't draw nearly as much voltage as the standard 12 volt auto style light. The factory 12 volt auto style bulb would get very hot and melt or warp the factory porch light housing. Anyone with the old auto bulb style lights inside their RVs know exactly how much heat they produce. This led light is just the right size for lighting up the inside of boats, Camper shells on trucks, etc.

**Q: I would like to know if this light is bright enough for a 3x5 outdoor sign.  The light will be placed 3 or 4 feet back from the sign.**
A: Yes, this light should work for your sign just fine.   Specially if you are talking outside at night Time.    Yet, this is not a spot light.  It is not super bright.   To go brighter you may want to go with the same type light but 20w instead.   Also keep in mind the 10w is a 12v.  Great if you plan to connect it to solar power.

**Q: Can this light be used on an RV?**
A: Yes it can be used with any 12 V source of power. But however it is not bright enough for what I needed

**Q: can you hook up a dusk to dawn sensor and battery with solar panel ?**
A: We guess you are asking a 12-2V DC motion sensor light. If so, i would like to introduce this light http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W4ZMIP4 to you . This light do not come with solar panel. But you can wire it to your solar power system.

**Q: Is this light bright enough to use on my boat to shine in the water to do some bow fishing**
A: I'm not sure how much light you need for "bow fishing" or if you need enough light to see fish underwater, but this light is as bright as say a regular 25W bulb. It's good for a 10W light. I'd give it a try, what do you have to lose, you'll have other uses for it if it doesn't do the trick.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for area lighting

These are pretty good lights. I have them hooked up to a 12v car battery on a light switch. The battery is charged on a solar panel so it is self sufficient and works well. I am very impressed with the light output. The photos are two lights on. Quality is fine for a stable mount, not sure how long they will last but will see. Also purchased a 12v display to monitor the voltage usage and a couple of power outlets (what we used to call cigarette lighters) to power up phones etc. and finally built a tray from some PVC boards. This is a simple solution for reliable power and lighting at a hunting camp or similar setup. 4 stars because one blew up when I powered it but returned without an issue.
