As with many other users I've read about and watched repairs from, one or both of these air injection pumps will get water in it, causing the motor and electrical connections to rust & corrode. Sure enough, when I got in there and pulled these out, one was in bad shape and the other was almost pristine. I did decide to replace the air intake snorkel that feeds air into these pumps. At the closest dealer, it was $50-something. Overall, this was a relatively inexpensive repair. Power cords on this were just right -- not too long or short. This is on a 2010 2nd-gen Tundra. As I think someone else wrote, this pump might make a bit more noise than an OEM, but hey - it runs for under a minute, only on cold starts, and then it shuts off.
