Not the latest model
I like the backpack but it isn’t the same model as you’d find in rei today (summer 2023). Nothing major I different. But the feel of the hip and arm straps are different. Maybe worse than what’s out there today. It squishy not supportive if that makes sense. But not a deal breaker for me. I otherwise love the backpack. Great for overnights and two night trips

Rain cover not incluede
I just open the package of this backpack. This is the largest backpack I have ever owned. I thought that the rain cover will be contained in the pack, but it’s not!
