**Q: Just rcvd a bottle that's over a year old on 03/20/23.  what's the current harvest date? was there a 2022-2023 harvest?**
A: You will find a circle with the "Harvest Day" date and the "Best Before" date on the lower right side of the bottle label on the back.
The "Best Before" date of the 2021-2022 harvest is 10/11/2023.
The 2022-2023 Harvest EVOOs will be available very soon.
The new "Harvest" Date is 11/2022 and the new "Best Before" date is 12/2024.

**Q: How many tenths does this oil contain? (Oleic Acid)**
A: Olive oil is higher in oleic acid than other vegetable fats. Extra virgin olive oil, consists of at least 55% oleic acid. The oleic acid content of our EVOO is 77.7% with 0.16 acidity.
Studies show that oleic acid reduces inflammation. Oleic acid may have beneficial effects on genes linked to cancer.

**Q: what is the harvest date?**
A: We write the harvest date and the Best Before date on the bottle label.
For this lot, the harvest date was 11/2021 - 01/1022. We do our best to bring in the new harvest every year around February for delivery to our customers. This way the EVOO most customers get is on average far less than a year(the "Best Before"  is on 11/2023) from the harvest date, meaning you get the freshest possible EVOO.
