I’ve been wanting to try my hand at this kind of thing for awhile and thought this kit seemed a good price to give it a go. I managed to poke myself pretty good ONCE and am much more careful now! I just completed my first animal from the kit and I can not believe how cute it turned out! I watched a couple felting videos on YT before buying a kit so I had a bit of an idea of what to do but I’ve never done it before. While the written instructions weren’t super clear, the pictures gave me enough of an idea to follow along. I do not regret my purchase at all.I did cut down the size of the foam mat that was included. I needed a smaller version so it would fit into a case I carry my current busy-work project in. I didn’t use the finger protection pieces included so don’t know how well they work. The needles that my kit came with are all identical and there’s a LOT of them included. I’m still working with the first needle, but it is showing some signs of bending due to me not being careful enough to keep my pokes straight. I didn’t have any issues with the eyeballs included in the kit. And it does seem like I will have PLENTY of wool to complete all the projects with some left over. In fact it was quite difficult trying to make my first project small enough to fit into the gift box. I’ve started on the tiger and am worried I’ll make it TOO small! But I bought this to learn with and it has definitely accomplished that objective. Super cute project! I’ll need to watch some more videos to make sure I’m doing it correctly. But it doesn’t matter it’s SO DARN CUTE Even if it’s not perfect!

Comes with everything you need and the couple I've made so far turned out very cute. There is a qr code for YouTube, but I couldn't find any videos specific to this kit. It turns out I didn't really need them, though. The leather finger was a little tight, but it works alright. It was hard to get the animals small enough for the gift box, but I hadn't intended on using it anyway.

All the animals are cute but only about 1 inch by 1 inch. Kit included everything I needed

With the instruction from the package, my 11 year old son can finish it by himself. This is his first time doing this wool crafting

I have enjoyed learning to felt using this kit. I had no idea it would be so easy to make them look good! And yes, I am a real person.

Exactly what I ordered packaging was great clear instructions I changed some things but easy to understand and make absolutely love the little box to put them in!
