A: bioGo sponges tend to last at least 20% longer than normal plastic sponges. If you'd like to stretch the life of each sponge further, simply put them in the washing machine to give them a new lease of life!

**Q: Is there any plastic in the packaging?**
A: Nope! The packaging is made entirely from recyclable cardboard and has no nasty surprises in terms of plastic bags, covers, or anything like that.

**Q: Are bioGo sponge hygienic?**
A: Moreso than the traditional ones. Due to the porous nature of the tree cellulose material, they are quick drying and therefore more hygienic! Many alternative sponges stay moist for longer and that means bacteria builds up much faster.

Great quality with reasonable price. The scorer does good job even for the burnt pots (just soak them over night), and it's also gentle enough not to scratch the enamels of inside the cast iron pots. I replace one every month. The old ones go to the compost after being used for cleaning jobs.
